With over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, MPK director Martin Knapp takes a very hands-on approach to every MPK project. Martin personally oversees and monitors all stages of the work from start to finish, and along with his team of office staff and skilled craftsmen, takes great pride in delivering a first class service on time and to budget.
MPK Lofts Conversion & Construction are an approved member of the FMB which assures you, the customer, that our works have been carefully checked as to uphold the standards of the largest Building Federation in England. As an FMB MasterBond member we can also offer our clients additional warranty options to cover our works – this is Government endorsed through the TrustMark scheme which helps potential customers find reputable firms.
MPK are part of the LABC Partner Authority Scheme which means we have established a close working relationship with Bristol City Council regarding any local planning and building regulations. This partnership allows us to greatly speed up and simplify the building process which in turn can save you time and money on your project.
The first appointment with our surveyor will be to measure and design your bespoke conversion after establishing your requirements. The 2nd appointment with a member of our management team will be to go through the details of your fixed price quotation, answering any questions you may have and finalising the proposed specification.
Once you have given us the go-ahead, our architect will complete a survey and complete architectural drawings to submit to the local authority for approval. Once we have planning permission/lawful use acceptance, we will arrange a start date for the project with you.
We will arrange for all relevant materials to be delivered and start work with as little disruption to you as possible. Our friendly team, both our skilled workers and office management team, will be available to answer any questions you have along the way.
Throughout the conversion process, our management team will ensure that a high quality conversion is delivered on time. They will manage the project throughout and will involve you as much or as little as you wish.
On completion of the work, we will issue your completion certificate from our approved Building Inspector, along with the necessary Gas & Electrical certificates if applicable. We like to ensure full customer satisfaction on completion.
Our after sales service is unbeatable. With over 20 years’ experience it’s unlikely you will have any problems but for your piece of mind we offer a 5 year structural guarantee and are always a phone call away ready to help.
