Loft conversion styles can vary considerably, from a Velux loft conversion or up & over roofs requiring dormers at the front or rear, to side hipped roofs requiring gable conversions or side dormers.

The minimum height requirement is 2.2 metres from your existing loft ceiling joists up to the underside of the roof apex when stood in the loft.
